Job summary

Buy Sod in Vero Beach, FL is seeking a Full Time Class A CDL Driver to safely operate flatbed sod shipments across our service area. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain logs, and ensure on-time deliveries with professional customer communication.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Endorsement and DOT Medical Certification.
• Flatbed experience preferred.
• Previous forklift experience preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• Personal cell phone required and partially reimbursed via stipend.
• Occasional extended routes and/or overnight stays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles safely and in compliance with company policies and DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and maintenance; keep documentation up to date.
• Safely transport, load/unload sod within weight limits and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Maintain logs and trip reports, fuel receipts, and delivery documentation.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating delivery updates and obtaining customer signatures.
