Job summary

Savage is seeking drivers for night shift local routes in Price, UT. Earn $80,000–$100,000 annually with a $5,000 retention bonus. Full-time, 10–12 hour shifts, 6 months driving experience required, CDL class A with doubles/triples.

You will perform local deliveries, pre-/post-trip inspections, paperwork, and maintain safety standards. Benefits include PTO, holidays, 401(k), health/dental/vision, and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with doubles/triples endorsement.
• Minimum 6 months of recent driving experience required.
• Manual transmission experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to pass background check, drug and alcohol screening, reference checks, and Savage road test.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles on local routes.
• Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Ensure equipment meets safety and operating standards.
• Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Communicate professionally with customers, dispatch, leadership, and team members.
• Provide excellent customer service during all interactions.
• Assist with additional operational tasks as needed to support customer expectations.
• Work safely and follow all company and DOT safety procedures.

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• 5 on 2 off/ 5 on 3 off rotating schedule
• 10-12 hour shifts
• Typical Dispatch times between 6pm-6am

What We’re Looking For

Physical Requirements

• Climb in and out of truck cabs multiple times per shift
• Apply snow chains when required
• Climb ladders and work at heights as needed
• Lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Work safely in changing and adverse weather conditions
