Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a Driver for our Temple, TX area distribution network. The role involves delivering building materials to customers and job sites, with responsibilities including loading, inspections, and safe vehicle operation.

The ideal candidate will hold a Class A CDL, have at least 2 years of tractor-trailer flatbed driving experience (winter driving a plus), and possess a High School diploma or GED. On-site work with a full-time schedule and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL required.
• 2 years of tractor-trailer flatbed driving experience including winter driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver building materials to customers, distribution centers and job sites.
• Perform loading/unloading and material handling with forklift or crane as needed.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain safe operation of vehicle.
• Operate tractor-trailer and comply with DOT regulations and traffic laws.
• Provide courteous, professional customer service at all times.
• Assist inventory and housekeeping tasks as needed.
