Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 1 year of delivery driving experience; 2 years preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and DOT medical card within 5 days of request.
• MVR check with fewer than 5 moving violations in 5 years.
• Able to read and speak English; basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer orders to specified sites and assist with loading/unloading.
• Maneuver vehicles into loading/unloading positions and verify orders against invoice.
• Maintain logs of deliveries including weights, mileage and locations.
• Serve as a customer service liaison and resolve issues as they arise.
• Perform safety checks and keep delivery vehicles clean and well-maintained.
• Operate a forklift or material handling equipment when required.
• Attend safety meetings and follow all company safety procedures.
