Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a safe driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspection and safety standards.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers, including manual and automatic transmission.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with field teams, dispatch personnel, and project stakeholders.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules, project demands, and delivery priorities.
• Construction industry transportation experience preferred.
• Valid medical examiner's certificate.

Responsibilities

• Deliver materials and equipment safely while complying with DOT and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify maintenance needs.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload cargo while protecting assets and meeting project schedules.
• Coordinate with dispatch, project teams, and jobsite personnel to ensure timely deliveries.
• Complete required logs, mileage reports, fuel records, and delivery documentation.
• Promote a culture of safety and teamwork across locations.

Your work helps ensure projects stay on schedule, teams have the resources they need, and operations run efficiently across multiple locations. You'll be a trusted partner to field teams, representing Findorff's commitment to safety, professionalism, and quality every day.

• Deliver Safely and Reliably: Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards.
• Maintain Equipment Readiness: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identify maintenance needs, and help ensure vehicles and equipment remain safe and operational.
• Manage Cargo Transportation: Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and equipment safely while protecting company assets and meeting project schedules.
• Support Project Operations: Coordinate with dispatch, project teams, and jobsite personnel to ensure timely deliveries and respond effectively to changing project needs.
• Maintain Compliance and Documentation: Accurately complete required logs, mileage reports, fuel records, and delivery documentation while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Represent Findorff's Safety Culture: Demonstrate a proactive safety mindset, promote safe transportation practices, and contribute to a culture of accountability and teamwork.
