Job summary

Findorff is seeking a CDL Semi Driver to safely transport materials, equipment, and supplies to construction job sites. You will support multiple locations, ensuring on-time deliveries and adherence to safety standards as part of our trusted team.

You will operate Class A vehicles, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and coordinate with dispatch and project teams to meet changing project needs while maintaining regulatory compliance and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with a safe driving record.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspection requirements, and transportation safety standards.
• Experience operating tractor-trailers, including manual and automatic transmission vehicles.
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with field teams, dispatch personnel, and project stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Safely and Reliably: Operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport materials and equipment while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations, company policies, and industry safety standards.
• Maintain Equipment Readiness: Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections, identify maintenance needs, and help ensure vehicles and equipment remain safe and operational.
• Manage Cargo Transportation: Load, secure, transport, and unload materials and equipment safely while protecting company assets and meeting project schedules.
• Support Project Operations: Coordinate with dispatch, project teams, and jobsite personnel to ensure timely deliveries and respond effectively to changing project needs.
• Maintain Compliance and Documentation: Accurately complete required logs, mileage reports, fuel records, and delivery documentation while maintaining regulatory compliance.
• Represent Findorff's Safety Culture: Demonstrate a proactive safety mindset, promote safe transportation practices, and contribute to a culture of accountability and teamwork.
