Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Experience as a Class A driver preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform loading/unloading duties.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport, deliver, and relocate products and materials as directed by supervisor.
• Load and unload goods, ensuring adherence to proper load security protocols.
• Conduct thorough pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment.
• Promptly report any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor.
• Operate company vehicles in compliance with all DOT regulations and local traffic laws.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date driver logs as required by DOT regulations.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good operating condition.
• Submit required reports and dispatch paperwork in a timely manner.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, participate in mandatory safety meetings, and use necessary personal protective equipment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
