Job summary

Rush-Enterprises is seeking a skilled Body Shop Technician to restore class 8 diesel equipment to factory specs. You will repair or replace damaged body components, perform teardown, and ensure adherence to ICAR and dealership standards.

In this role you will review repair orders, work with apprentices, and sign off on quality checks before moving units to paint. We offer a strong benefits package, ongoing training, and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED.
• Three years’ body shop experience.
• ICAR Welding Certificate.
• Valid driver's license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders, work orders, and estimator notes before starting repairs.
• Repair or replace damaged body components following factory specs.
• Use frame and measuring equipment per vendor instructions.
• Perform teardown, identify parts, and re-assemble after painting.
• Sign off on all quality checks and guide apprentices as needed.
