Job summary

Rush-Enterprises is seeking a Body Shop Technician to restore class 8 diesel equipment to pre-accident condition. You will repair or replace body components, following factory specifications and dealership standards.

The role involves reviewing orders, performing teardowns, and ensuring quality checks before painting. You will mentor apprentices and work with a team dedicated to excellence and safety in a professional shop environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Three years of body shop experience.
• ICAR Welding Certificate.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.

Responsibilities

• Review repair orders and notes to determine repairs required.
• Follow documentation on repair orders and supplements.
• Perform repairs per factory specifications and company policy (I-Car standard).
• Use frame and measuring equipment per vendor specs.
• Complete teardown, identify parts, and perform finish checks before painting.

Skills

Three years’ body shop experience
