Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Forklift Operator in Harrisonburg, VA. You will move finished product, operate clamp forklifts, and ensure accuracy in the paper handling process.

Starting rate is $21.00 per hour. Shifts are 12 hours with rotating day and night schedules. Training and cross-functional opportunities are available, with comprehensive benefits and company growth potential.

Qualifications

• Forklift experience with standup and sit-down forklifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand or sit for full shift duration.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments is required.
• Clamp forklift experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate Clamp Forklift equipment to move large rolls of paper.
• Scan containers to ensure system accuracy.
• Inspect forklift daily and service batteries.
• Process departmental paperwork.
• Use a computer to access the internal COMN system for job information.
