Job summary

Lakeside Book Company in Harrisonburg, VA is seeking a Forklift Driver to move finished products from the plant to loading areas and support distribution nationwide. This full-time, rotating 12-hour shift position offers a starting rate of $21.00 per hour, with work at two Harrisonburg locations: 2347 Kratzer Rd and 1025 Willow Springs Rd.

Ideal candidates will have forklift experience (standup or sit-down), be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and perform well in a fast-paced manufacturing

Qualifications

• Forklift experience required, including standup and sit-down models.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand or sit for the full shift.
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Operate clamp forklift to move large rolls of paper.
• Scan containers to ensure system accuracy.
• Inspect forklift daily and service batteries.
• Process departmental paperwork.
• Use internal COMN system for job information.
