Job summary

HartleyCo in Dallas is seeking a Claims Team Lead to inspire and guide a team across property, auto or GL claims. You’ll own quality, productivity and customer satisfaction while balancing a small caseload to stay technically sharp.

You could be the senior handler others rely on for difficult files, coaching and escalations, joining client meetings as a claims expert. The role requires 5+ years in claims and a hybrid work model in Dallas.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in property, auto or GL claims.
• Strong technical claims judgement.
• Evidence of leadership, mentoring or coaching.
• Ability to work hybrid in Dallas.

I’m working with a well-funded, technology-enabled insurance business that is building its claims operation in Dallas.

They are hiring a Claims Team Lead across property, auto or general liability.

You could already be leading a team. You could also be the senior handler everyone relies on for difficult files, coaching and escalations, but without the title or progression to match.

You will:

• Lead and coach a team of claims handlers
• Own quality, productivity and customer satisfaction
• Manage allocation and capacity
• Review files and improve technical performance
• Identify portfolio risks before they become problems
• Join client meetings as a claims expert
• Retain a small caseload to stay technically sharp

You will need:

• 5+ years in property, auto or GL claims
• Strong technical claims judgement
• Evidence of leadership, mentoring or coaching
• The ability to work hybrid in Dallas

The package includes a $80,000 to $120,000 base, quarterly performance bonus, stock options, medical insurance and a 401(k) match.
