Job summary

HartleyCo in Dallas is building its US claims operation and seeks an auto claims professional who can own files from first notification through settlement and progress faster than traditional carrier structures. This hands-on role offers a path to leadership as the team grows.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of auto claims experience, auto property-damage expertise, exposure to bodily injury and PIP or MedPay, and confidence assessing coverage and liability.

Qualifications

• At least three years of auto claims experience.

• Ability to manage policyholders, claimants and competing priorities independently.
• Experience with salvage, subrogation, reserves, mentoring or multi-state licences would be valuable.

Job description

I’m supporting a well-funded insurance technology company that is building its US claims operation in Dallas.

They need an auto claims professional who can own files from first notification through settlement and wants to progress faster than a traditional carrier structure normally allows.

You should have:

• At least three years of auto claims experience
• Auto property-damage experience
• Exposure to bodily injury and PIP or MedPay
• Confidence assessing coverage and liability
• The ability to manage policyholders, claimants and competing priorities independently
• Availability to work on a hybrid basis in Dallas

Experience with salvage, subrogation, reserves, mentoring or multi-state licences would be valuable.

This is a hands‑on handler role rather than a management position. The longer-term opportunity is to develop into quality, performance and claims leadership as the team grows.
