One80 Intermediaries in Albany, NY is seeking a part-time Claims Support Representative to join our growing team. You will provide clerical support to claims administration, including data entry, indexing, and mailing activities.

The role focuses on processing disability and supplemental claim documents, meeting turnaround times and quality standards, and supporting the dental claims review team with correspondence and case status updates.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Minimum data entry speeds of 7,000 numeric keystrokes/hour and 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour.
• PC proficiency with word processing and data management programs.

Responsibilities

• Monitors digital mail queues to receive new disability claim and supplemental claim documents.
• Performs data entry of claimant information into the claim system (LuminX) and indexes documents to claimant records in the administration system (Synergy).
• Meet turnaround time (TAT) and quality standards for timely and accurate handling of documents.
• Provide administrative support to the dental consultant claim review team, including assigning new claims and processing provider correspondence using OnBase.
• Responds to dental provider requests for information or claim status.
• Perform general clerical duties including faxing and preparing materials for mailing.

The part-time Claims Support Representative will provide general clerical support for assigned claims administration unit(s), including data entry, digital indexing, and mailing activities.

How You Will Contribute:

• Monitors digital mail queues to receive new disability claim and supplemental claim documents.
• Performs data entry of claimant information into claim system (LuminX) and indexes documents to claimant records in administration system (Synergy).
• Responsible for meeting turnaround time (TAT) and quality standards to ensure timely and accurate handling of documents.
• Provides administrative support to the dental consultant claim review team - including assigning new claims, processing dental provider correspondence, and forwarding completed claims using process management software (OnBase).
• Responds to dental provider requests for information and/or claim status.
• Performs general clerical duties as needed including, but not limited to, faxing, and preparing materials for mailing.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:

• HS diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Minimum data entry skills of 7,000 numeric keystrokes/hour and 6,000 alphanumeric keystrokes/hour.
• PC proficiency, including ability to work with word processing and data management programs.

Pay Range

$18.00 - $18.00 Hourly The pay range provided above is made in good faith and based on our lowest and highest annual salary or hourly rate paid for the role and takes into account years of experience required, geography, and/or budget for the role.
