Job summary

Nascentia Health is seeking a Claims Support Specialist to provide support to health plan members, providers, and adjudicators. The role includes resolving claims issues, collaborating with various departments, and ensuring compliance with guidelines.

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4:30 PM, based in Syracuse, NY. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, strong communication skills, and insurance experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in insurance and understanding of Medicare benefits a plus.
• Demonstrates discretion in handling confidential and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Resolve authorization, contract, and eligibility issues with TPA.
• Respond to inquiries related to claims for Medicaid and Medicare plans.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure claims are processed correctly.
