The Misch Group is seeking a Claims Specialist or Claims Manager to strengthen its commercial claims capability in the Connecticut/NY area. Location is Connecticut with possibilities in New York.

The role offers permanent, direct hire status with compensation up to $100,000, depending on experience and level, and flexible levels of responsibility for the right candidate. The team emphasizes service, relationships, and professional growth.

Qualifications

• Significant commercial claims experience.
• Five or more years of experience preferred for Claims Specialist.
• Prior claims-team or department leadership strongly preferred for Claims Manager.
• Carrier-side claims experience is highly valued; agency-side backgrounds are also welcome.
• Insurance licensing is helpful but not required.

• Manage and guide commercial insurance claims through clear communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow-through.
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for clients, carriers, producers, and internal account teams.
