Job summary

GEICO in Poway, CA seeks an Auto Claims Specialist to assist customers with empathy, guide them through coverage decisions, and help get them back on the road after an incident.

You will manage incoming calls, collect accident facts, investigate details, obtain statements, and resolve issues with a strong focus on customer satisfaction. Evening and weekend shifts may apply, with on-site training and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Customer-facing claims experience preferred.
• Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs is a plus.
• Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided).

Starting Salary: $24.32/hour ($49,004.80 annually). Differentials: +10% for evening shifts; +20% for weekends. What We’re Looking For

Experience & Qualifications: Customer-facing Claims experience preferred. Experience in high-volume call centers with KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and measurable goals preferred. Active Adjusters license preferred (training and exam fees provided). High School Diploma or GED required; College degree preferred. Core Skills: Strong customer service, interpersonal, problem-solving, and empathy skills. Adaptable, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize and multitask across platforms. Availability: Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. #geico300 Annual Salary $22.90 - $35.10. The above annual salary range is a general guideline. Multiple factors are taken into consideration to arrive at the final hourly rate/ annual salary to be offered to the selected candidate. Factors include, but are not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the role, the selected candidate’s work experience, education and training, the work location as well as market and business considerations.
