Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a recognized college program focusing on risk management or related field.
• Local to Tampa, Florida.
• Demonstrated passion for risk management and insurance.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate across levels.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a positive group dynamic.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide support with First Notice of Loss (FNOL) intake and related processes.
• Assist with system updates, integrations, and implementation projects within the claims department.
• Help build and develop new reports to support data and analytics initiatives.
• Develop new processes and tools to drive efficiencies.
• Complete rotations with department leadership, operations/support, training, QI, and other areas.
• Assist in reviewing claim forms, policies, endorsements, and other records to understand coverage determinations.
• Assist with special projects as assigned by management.
