Qualifications

• 3-5 years of carpet claims experience preferred.
• Knowledge of the carpet manufacturing process preferred.
• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Knowledge of Customer Service functions as it pertains to claim resolution.
• Proficient with computers, AS400 system, Word, and Excel.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain positive business relationships to promote company goals.
• Research claims to determine appropriate action for claim resolution based on warranty, inspection report, lab results, input from dealer, etc.
• Research chargebacks and disputed invoices resulting in an appropriate resolution.
• Assist the Credit Department in resolving issues that could potentially prohibit the shipment of orders.
• Process all claims with attention given to each request in a timely manner.
• Serve as a liaison for dealers and sales force for determining a resolution and following up on pending claims.
• Work with Quality Control on defect resolution.
• Schedule return authorizations with dealer, carrier, or warehouses.
• Correspond with carrier and dealers regarding damaged or lost freight claims.
