About the Role

Investigates and maintains crop claims by inspecting crops, evaluating damages, determining the amount of loss, determining liability, securing information, reviewing coverages, arranging property damage appraisals, and settling claims. Territory is Greene and Macoupin counties, Illinois.

How does this role make an impact?

• Investigates crop claims by determining applicable policy coverage, evaluating, negotiating, and settling assigned claims.
• Completes physical inspections of crop claims, evaluates damages, and prepares written estimates in accordance with policy provisions.
• Initiates first and subsequent contact with insureds and all relevant parties to gather basic information and explain the overall claims process.

Qualifications

Typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience or a combination of related experience, education, and training. Candidate must live within Greene/Macoupin counties in Illinois.

Compensation

Base Pay Range: $55,200–$75,900. Incentive Pay: Eligible for a Short‑Term Incentive plan in addition to base salary.

Work Arrangements

Positions may be hybrid, onsite, or fully remote depending on location and role requirements. Candidates residing more than 50 miles from Bloomington, IL may qualify for a fully remote arrangement. If based in Bloomington, IL corporate office, a hybrid schedule may be three days in office and two days remote.
