The role involves inputting data, coordinating with third-party administrators, and supporting risk management efforts.

Strong communication, problem solving, and attention to detail are essential. Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, with a compensation range of $23–$25 per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Take first reports of accidents and enter accident information into computer.
• Obtain and file police reports, photos and other documents.
• Follow up on missing documentation regarding the accident.
• Execute investigation for root cause analysis and evaluate liability exposure.
• Set up third-party field adjusters on serious claims to document at the scene.
• Communicate accident notices to internal clients.
• Audit incident reports for accuracy before escalating claim status.
• Coordinate information with insurers or third-party administrator.
• Initiate claims adjudication as directed by supervisor.
• Obtain records for evidence preservation in anticipation of litigation.

How You'll Work :

• Hours: Monday to Friday (8:00 am to 4:30 pm)
• Compensation: Compensation: This pay scale represents a good faith estimate of the hourly range the company reasonably expects to pay upon hire for this position: $23-25 per hour. A final offer amount will depend on factors such as prior relevant experience, skills, and location.

Job Summary:
Responsible for taking first report calls of accidents from drivers, assigning adjusters as needed, inputting the information into the computer system, notifying third-party administrators of accidents and performing required follow-up on all these functions. Management, analysis and processing of - and reporting on - insurance and self-insurance programs and claims. Risk management personnel manage the company's risk by analyzing and purchasing risk transfer products, assessing, investigating and settling claims to limit ultimate liability, monitoring and assisting the work of outside legal counsel and third-party claims administrators, and reporting on loss history and trends to safety and operations departments and executive leadership.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Take first reports of accidents and Enter accident information into computer

• Set up third-party field adjusters as needed on more serious claims to get to the scene for documentation to preserve evidence
• Communicate accident notices to internal clients
• Audit each incident report for accuracy and completeness before escalating the claim status
• Coordinate information with the company's insurers and/or third-party administrator
• Commence claims adjudication as directed by supervisor
• Obtain records timely for evidence preservation in anticipation of litigation
