Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Claims Recovery Specialist for a contract role in Tampa, FL. You will identify, investigate, and recover overpayments to healthcare providers within workers' compensation, managing cases from discovery to resolution.

You will collaborate across teams, review documentation, and communicate with providers to maximize recoveries. Hybrid work in Tampa, with pay between $26.00-$27.00 per hour.

Qualifications

  • Review claims, bills, payment histories, and EORs to determine recovery opportunities.
  • Prepare and send recovery letters and related correspondence to providers.
  • Conduct outbound calls and email outreach to discuss balances.

  • Collaborate with internal departments, including Bill Review, Accounting, Client Services, Network Services, Legal, and Operations, to support recovery efforts and resolve complex issues.

Description

The Claims Recovery Specialist is responsible for identifying, investigating, and recovering overpayments made to healthcare providers within the workers' compensation industry. This role owns the recovery process from discovery through resolution, utilizing extensive workers' compensation knowledge to analyze claims, payment activity, reimbursement methodologies, fee schedules, provider disputes, and contractual requirements to maximize recovery opportunities and protect client and company assets.

This is a Contract position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
