Job summary

WebTPA in Irving, TX seeks a Manager of Claims Processing to lead a team and optimize client service. You will oversee Claims Assistant Managers, guide performance, and coordinate with HR on disciplinary actions, training, and internal reporting. The role focuses on reviewing procedures for new clients, Summary Plan Documents, and clarifying plan benefits, with direct client contact and regular performance reviews.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in the claims administrative industry.
• 2+ years direct supervisory/management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or related equivalent work experience.
• Strong verbal and written presentation/communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately.
• Comfortable working across operational departments and with clients.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with CPT coding and review of multiple surgical procedures.
• Strong time and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage Claims Assistant Managers.
• Hire and promote from within WebTPA.
• Provide direction and coaching on performance.
• Conduct 1:1 updates and performance appraisals.
• Implement disciplinary measures with HR.
• Serve as primary client contact on daily items.
• Resolve claims issues by researching plan coverage and history.
• Report updates to senior operations leadership.
• Monitor client performance guarantees and metrics.
• Identify training needs and drive performance improvements.
