Job summary

WebTPA, a GuideWell Company, is seeking an Assistant Manager of Claims Processing to lead a team of Claims Examiners in day-to-day operations. You will serve as SME for claims processing, drive staffing, onboarding, training, and performance management to meet deadlines and quality targets.

You will review claims, enforce prioritization, collaborate with Internal Audit, and coordinate with clients and providers to resolve issues while upholding company standards and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years related work experience as a claims examiner or adjudication in healthcare.
• 1+ years direct supervisory/management experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong judgment, analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to multi-task and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Claims Examiners and act as SME for claims‑processing questions.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, training, feedback, and performance reviews.
• Manage and review claims, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines and SLAs.
• Monitor quality metrics, coordinate with Internal Audit, and implement improvements.
• Coach staff, conduct 1:1s, and recognize high performance.
