Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Claims Associate to support the claims team in Florence, Alabama. You will review claim forms, medical records, and documentation, enter information into the system, and assist with correspondence and expenses related to claims processing.

The role requires experience in insurance claims, preferably workers' compensation, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills. On-site presence is expected to support collaboration and cross-functional partnership.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance or medical claims environment
• Workers' compensation claims experience preferred
• Ability to review and process claim documentation carefully
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Good written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and MS Office

Responsibilities

• Review claim forms, medical records, and documentation for completeness
• Enter and maintain claim information in the system
• Organize and route incoming claim documents to correct files
• Prepare letters and correspondence for claims adjusters
• Monitor claim activity and support timely processing
• Provide administrative support to claims team
• Identify missing information and coordinate follow-up
