Job summary

Acrisure is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner to support clients within the Alabama jurisdiction. This role manages lost time workers’ compensation claims from assignment through resolution while ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant handling.

The adjuster will investigate claims, evaluate liability and exposure, manage litigation and medical activity, maintain reserves, and support claim resolution strategies in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Lost time workers’ compensation claims experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Alabama workers’ compensation statutes is preferred.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Manage a desk and caseload of workers’ compensation claims in a professional manner.
• Investigate claims, including coverage, liability, and exposure analysis.
• Evaluate claim exposure and maintain timely reserves and documentation.
• Coordinate with defense counsel and manage litigation activity as needed.
• Support claim resolution strategies and communicate with employers, workers, and attorneys.
