MCC Mid-Continent Casualty Company in Tulsa, OK is seeking a Claims Intern for a 10-week summer program with a hybrid work schedule. Interns will gain exposure to claims handling, analysis, investigation and negotiation within a supportive environment.

The program includes seminars, project work, and interaction with colleagues across functions, aiming to build foundational insurance knowledge and professional development.

Qualifications

• GPA 3.5 preferred, 3.0 minimum for consideration.
• Proven leadership through work experience, internships, or campus activities.
• Superior communication, analytical, planning and organizing skills.
• Self-motivated with potential virtual aspects of the internship.
• Current student pursuing a bachelor’s degree; insurance/ risk mgmt students encouraged.
• May 2028-2029 graduate preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work on meaningful assignments in the Claims team, including handling, analysis, investigation and negotiation.
• Collaborate with Claims Operations to request medical canvases and use litigation databases.
• Learn and perform functions using the various claims systems and databases.
• Complete reading assignments, courses, case studies and projects for professional development.
