Job summary

HAI Group in Cheshire, CT is seeking a driven Coordinator to support the Claims Management Department with intake, setup of property and general liability claims, and administrative tasks. The role collaborates with examiners and management to prepare claims documents, process payments, and maintain electronic filing, while serving as a reliable liaison with internal teams and external partners.

On-site training in Cheshire for two weeks is required; the ideal candidate has a high school

Qualifications

• High school diploma and ability to work in a corporate environment.
• 1+ years experience in an administrative role in a corporate setting.
• Microsoft Office application experience.
• Knowledge of insurance operations.
• Property and Casualty claims administrative experience preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• On-site training in Cheshire, CT for two weeks.

Responsibilities

• Intake and initial setup of claims for property and/or general liability claims
• Process loss and expense payments in collaboration with Claims Supervisor
• Daily check processing, including reconciliation of checks
• Format and distribute coverage letters
• Filing Maintenance
• Assist with department vouchers
• ISO Claim search weekly reports and inquiry distribution for general liability
• Maintain relationships with all departments within HAI Group’s Insurance Operations
