MLabs is hiring an Auto Claims Handler in Dallas, TX on a hybrid schedule. The role targets a claims professional with 3+ years of hands-on auto claims experience, including property damage and total loss, who can work quickly and accurately in a high-growth environment.

You will manage claims end-to-end, communicate with policyholders, review documents, and verify coverage while pursuing continuous process improvements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on auto claims handling experience (property damage and total loss) in a fast-paced setting.
• Active Texas Adjuster license required; additional licenses (NY, CA, FL, GA) are a plus.
• Based in Dallas, TX with hybrid attendance and US work authorization.
• Strong organizational skills and data-driven decision making; mentoring experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage auto claims end-to-end from first notice to final settlement.
• Serve as primary contact for policyholders with clear, professional communication.
• Review documents, verify coverage, and determine liability.
• Evaluate damage, repair estimates, total loss values, and salvage processes.
• Assess bodily injury claims and manage PIP/MedPay files.
• Set reserves and settle claims within authority limits.
• Identify fraud indicators and route suspicious files appropriately.
• Maintain complete claim files and comply with audit standards.
• Identify process bottlenecks and contribute to improvements.

This role is tailored for an ambitious claims professional with 3+ years of experience who is seeking a fast-paced environment where advancement is driven by performance and capability rather than traditional tenure. The client prioritizes talent, strong work ethic, and professional drive, providing dedicated training and resources focused on quality oversight, performance analytics, and capacity planning to prepare high-performing adjusters for future leadership pathways.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage auto claims end-to-end, maintaining oversight from initial notification of loss through final settlement.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for policyholders, providing clear, professional communication throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Review documentation, verify policy coverage, and determine liability accurately.
• Evaluate physical damage, analyze repair estimates, assess total loss valuations, and manage total loss and salvage processes.
• Evaluate bodily injury claims and manage Personal Injury Protection (PIP) / Medical Payments (MedPay) files.
• Establish appropriate reserve levels and settle claims within designated authority limits.
• Detect potential indicators of fraud and detect suspicious files to the appropriate channels.
• Maintain complete, accurate claim files to ensure strict adherence to audit and compliance standards.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks and contribute to continuous process improvement.

• Location: Based in Dallas, TX with active U.S. work authorization (hybrid attendance required).
• Experience: 3+ years of hands‑on auto claims handling experience, including property damage and total loss claims.
• Licensing: Active Texas (TX) Adjuster License is required; additional licensing in NY, CA, FL, or GA is considered a strong plus.
• Technical & Soft Skills: Strong organizational skills, self‑directed prioritization, and comfort leveraging operational metrics to guide decisions.
• Preferred Experience: Exposure to subrogation, experience mentoring or coaching junior peers, or a background in startup and high‑growth organizational settings.
