Job summary

American Global LLC is seeking a Claims Associate in the NJ/GA/NY corridor to support daily claims administration, reporting, and data analysis. The role builds towards handling General Liability and Automobile claims under supervision while maintaining exceptional client service.

Location notes include Whippany, NJ; Atlanta, GA; Jericho, NY. A structured training path and hands-on mentoring will guide the progression toward independent claims handling as experience grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or related work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong time management and prioritization abilities.
• High attention to detail and professionalism.
• Interest in progressing into claims handling, with learning across General Liability and Automobile.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day claims administration, including new loss reporting, claim system updates, documentation, filing, and follow-up with carriers and adjusters.
• Maintain accurate internal claims records, account assignments, claim review schedules, carrier reporting instructions, and client claim kits.
• Reconcile claim information between internal systems and carrier loss runs, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze claims data and loss trends to identify patterns, support client discussions, and develop meaningful reports and actionable insights.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, carriers, adjusters, and internal partners while delivering high-quality service.
• Participate in client stewardship meetings, carrier claim reviews, and required investigations.
