About the Role

Auto Transport Claims is looking for a motivated, organized, and dependable Claims Coordinator to join our growing team.

No previous claims or insurance experience is required. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, communicates well, stays organized, follows through, and takes ownership of their work.

We will provide hands‑on training and teach the right candidate how to handle auto transport damage claims from initial reporting through resolution.

This can also be a great opportunity for someone already working in the auto transport, brokerage, dispatch, or vehicle logistics industry who wants to transition into the claims side of the business.

As a Claims Coordinator, you will work with customers, auto transport brokers, motor carriers, drivers, dealerships, repair facilities, and insurance companies to help investigate vehicle damage claims and keep each claim moving toward resolution.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Receive and document new vehicle damage claims
  • Communicate with customers, transportation companies, carriers, drivers, dealerships, repair facilities, and insurance representatives
  • Collect bills of lading, pickup and delivery inspections, vehicle photos, repair estimates, invoices, driver statements, and other claim documentation
  • Review pickup and delivery documentation to help determine when and where vehicle damage may have occurred
  • Follow up with carriers, claimants, repair facilities, and insurance companies for outstanding information
  • Help obtain repair estimates and additional documentation when needed
  • Keep claim files organized and properly documented
  • Maintain detailed notes of calls, emails, conversations, and claim developments
  • Track open claims and make sure follow-ups are completed
  • Provide customers with regular status updates
  • Work with experienced claims staff on claim investigations
  • Help identify pre-existing damage or discrepancies between pickup and delivery condition
  • Assist with communicating claim findings and next steps
  • Escalate complicated, disputed, or high-dollar claims when appropriate
  • Help move claims toward a fair and timely resolution

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and follow-ups at the same time
  • Willing to take initiative and solve problems
  • Comfortable asking questions and learning new processes
  • Able to handle difficult conversations professionally
