Job summary

OneSpaWorld LLC is seeking a Claims Coordinator to join our Risk Management team at the Coral Gables headquarters. The role focuses on evaluating and processing claims related to onboard incidents involving guests and crew, ensuring fair and timely resolution.

You will liaise with shipboard medical teams, cruise line partners, and internal stakeholders to bring structure and follow-through to a fast-paced process.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in guest or crew maritime claims preferred.
• Strong written communication, typing and math skills are required.
• Proficiency in MS Office and data tracking tools is expected.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for claims-related correspondence with staff, cruise lines, and guests.
• Partner with onboard doctors to support crew medical claims and repatriation cases.
• Investigate guest and crew claims by gathering documentation and assessing coverage.
• Maintain claims databases and process payments accurately and on schedule.
• Take on additional projects and responsibilities as assigned, adapting to the needs of a dynamic team.

Position Summary

We're looking for an experienced, detail-oriented Claims Coordinator to join our Risk Management team, based at our headquarters in sunny Coral Gables, Florida. In this role, you'll evaluate and process claims related to onboard incidents involving both guests and crew, working to ensure fair, accurate, and timely resolution. You'll be a key point of contact between shipboard medical teams, cruise line partners, and internal stakeholders — bringing structure and follow-through to a fast-moving, detail-heavy process.

What You'll Do

What You Bring

• Associate's degree, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of experience in guest or crew maritime claims strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of claims files and claims processes.
• Strong written communication, typing, and math skills, with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
• A positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn.
• Discretion in handling confidential information.
