Responsibilities

• Manage, investigate, and resolve assigned claims within authority levels.
• Gather information from policyholders, claimants, witnesses, and third parties to evaluate coverage, liability, and damages.
• Review medical records, police reports, and other documentation to assess claim severity and determine reserves.
• Negotiate settlements with claimants and attorneys; arrange expert inspections and coordinate ancillary resources as needed.
• Identify suspicious claims and refer to SIU; identify third party subrogation opportunities.
• Maintain accurate and timely claim files, status reports, and documentation in claims systems.
• Sends and responds to various written, telephone and SMS text inquiries to pursue resolution of the claim.
