Job summary

Hospital for Special Care is seeking a Claims Analyst to analyze, review and resolve daily claim edits in our billing systems. You will oversee new edit development and monitor charge entry to ensure timely posting, while collaborating with various departments to address edits and trends.

The role requires 3–5 years in Accounts Receivable or related accounting, plus strong Excel/Outlook skills and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience in Accounts Receivable environment or related accounting area.
• Excellent computer skills utilizing Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook as well as hospital financial systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills as well as ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook daily.
• Strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes, reviews and resolves daily claim edits in the billing systems.
• Oversees new edit development and management of claim submission software.
• Monitors daily charge entry and resolves anomalies timely.
• Reports inconsistencies and trends to management.
• Provides support to patient accounting for efficient department operation.
