Immediate need for a talented Claims Analyst / Data Analyst. This is a 06+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in TX (Remote; C.S.T). Please review the job description below and contact me ASAP if you are interested.

Pay Range: $20 - $21 / hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Responsibilities:

• Shift (Start / End Time): 8:00 am - 5:00 pm CST. Lunch is 1 hour.
• During training, cameras must be on and the employee should be in front of the camera where we can see from their shoulders up.
• This is a remote position requiring a distraction-free and secure location for discussing private information.
• Process intake backlog for Federal Independent Dispute Request (IDR) process. Enter data into tracking log. Handle NSA claims special projects.
• Interact daily with supervisor and team members.
• Utilize Microsoft Teams for communication.
• Participate in weekly meetings, sometimes with cameras on.
• Manage open negotiation request inventory backlog.
• Clean up backlog related to previously processed claims.
• This role involves validating members and understanding claims to help understand how customers are protected.
• Collaborate across three teams: ONR validates, IDR reviews billing, claims route to Claims Specialist.
• Bring your background experience and claims knowledge to understand claim history and improve process understanding.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Amisys Claims experience (2-5 years).
• High school diploma or GED required; 2-4 years' experience preferred.
• Excel experience (1-2 years).
• Data Analytics skills.
• Ability to verify benefits, preferably with medical field experience.
• Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to think outside the box.
• Preferred: Healthcare experience; bachelor's degree in business or related field.
• Preferred: Claims Processing experience.
