Job Title: Sr. Data Analyst
Location: Reston, VA or Remote (East Coast)

About This Role:

The Sr. Data Analyst extracts, transforms, and analyzes data, finding insights and answering questions about the content of the data. Performs analytical hypothesis testing and modeling to provide key insights to internal and external clients. Supports the sales function by providing data expertise, feasibility reviews, and detailed analysis of questions raised by stakeholders. Senior roles involve creating and innovating Comscore’s offerings and managing cross-functional teams of analysts. Some roles develop and maintain internal and external reporting tools across digital, mobile, OTT, and TV areas.

What You'll Do:

1. Initiate and manage cross-functional projects independently.
2. Present findings to clients, peers, and management.
3. Collaborate with teams to implement QA methods and improve user experience.
4. Participate in sales calls to discuss custom research initiatives.
5. Support pre-sales activities.
6. Manage and execute custom research projects from start to finish.
7. Handle multiple tasks under changing workloads and deadlines.
8. Identify process efficiencies and automation opportunities.
9. Validate custom analytics with external sources and explain differences.
10. Develop and enhance products.
11. Mentor and train new team members if applicable.

What You'll Need:

• 4-8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in SQL, Tableau, and Microsoft Excel.
• 1-2 years of experience with Comscore’s offerings and research methods, or similar market research experience.
• 1-2 years of project management experience.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with others.
