The Dentist Insurance Company (TDIC) is seeking a Claims Representative II, Professional Liability for a remote-first role with occasional travel and in-office meetings. The position involves investigating liability claims, managing outside adjusters, and working with the claims supervisor to set reserves and case values.

Ideal candidates have a minimum of three years in liability insurance claims, strong communication, and proficiency with MS Office and claims software.

Competenze

• Requires minimum 3 years of insurance experience in a liability claims role.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience with MS Windows Office and AS400 or similar database is preferred.

Mansioni

• Investigate and determine cause and origin of loss and liability, including supervising outside adjusters and vendors.
• Assist claims supervisor in establishing case values and reserves.
• Support litigation management and defense budgeting per TDIC guidelines.
• Negotiate claim resolutions with claimants under supervisor direction.
• Maintain assigned caseloads with timely correspondence to insureds, vendors and claimants.
• Review vendor bills and approve payments with supervisor guidance.
• Attend meetings with policyholders, defense attorneys and consultants as needed.
