Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum three years of professional customer service experience.
• Insurance industry experience preferred, with claims-related experience strongly preferred.
• PC proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Report claims promptly and accurately to insurance carriers and third-party administrators.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the claims process, providing updates and guidance.
• Monitor open claims and follow up with carriers to ensure timely progression and resolution.
• Review policy coverages and claim information to help clients understand coverage and procedures.
• Coordinate collection and submission of claim-related documentation and supporting materials.
• Maintain complete and accurate claim files in the agency management system.
• Assist clients with claim-related issues and advocate for timely claim handling.
