Nodak Insurance Company is seeking an experienced Senior Claim Representative to investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle covered claims within assigned authority. This position will work remotely in northeast North Dakota, preferably in the Devils Lake area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional designations such as CPCU/AIC/ARM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conducts thorough investigations by gathering statements, reports, records, photos, estimates, invoices, and expert opinions as needed.
• Analyzes coverage, liability, damages, and claim-related issues by interpreting policy language and laws to determine settlements.
• Maintains organized claim files with notes, forms, worksheets, and supporting documentation.
• Reviews bills, estimates, appraisals, medical and repair documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Evaluates claims and negotiates settlements within authority limits; documents recommendations for additional authority.
