Job summary

Falcon Insurance Company is seeking an experienced claims adjuster to manage investigations for bodily injury claims in Texas and Illinois, with emphasis on non-standard auto lines. The role requires strong organizational skills, the ability to multi‑task, and a team-oriented mindset.

Based in Oak Brook, IL, you will evaluate coverage and liability, document findings, and process claim payments while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience handling non‑standard automobile lines.
• Must be able to commute to our Oak Brook, IL office.
• Experience handling policy coverage, claim investigation, and negligence laws.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced and high call volume environment.
• Ability to be part of a team and work independently.
• Active Texas license (preferred).
• Bilingual (preferred).
• Degree in Business, Criminology, Political Science, Sociology, or Psychology (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage claim investigations, primarily handling bodily injury claims in Texas and Illinois, including interviewing all involved parties through detailed recorded telephone statements, collecting/evaluating documentation, securing evidence and conducting thorough searches using known industry databases.
• Analyze obtained documentation and evidence, evaluate coverage, determine liability and extent of damages.
• Effectively document records, update status notes, results of external information gathering and other relevant reports.
• Process payment of claims.
