Summit North Corp. in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time Claims Adjuster to assess and settle insurance claims, determine coverage and liability, and coordinate with policyholders and carriers.

The role requires attention to detail and strong communication, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a team environment within our insurance operations department. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of experience in claims adjusting or a related field.
• Proficiency in English.
• Knowledge of insurance policies and procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and assess insurance claims to determine liability and coverage.
• Interview policyholders, witnesses, and other parties to gather information.
• Review medical records, repair estimates, and other relevant documents.
• Negotiate with claimants, adjusters, and other parties to reach a fair and timely settlement.
• Adhere to company policies and state regulations to ensure compliance.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of all investigations and communications.
• Provide excellent customer service, communicating clearly and professionally with clients.
