Progressive is seeking a Claims Adjuster Specialist to manage BI claims, working with attorneys to assess liability and settle claims. The role supports a hybrid schedule with monthly in-office collaboration, and candidates near Phoenix, AZ or Henderson, NV are preferred.

The ideal candidate has experience handling claims independently, evaluating liability and damages, and negotiating settlements, with a focus on timely, accurate resolutions and client service.

Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling.
• Associate's degree plus three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling (OR) Bachelor's degree plus one year in claims handling.

As a claims adjuster specialist, you’ll play a critical role managing attorney represented bodily injury (BI) claims. An ideal candidate will have experience managing an inventory independently, experience assessing and evaluating liability, coverage, and damages, as well as working independently and directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims. This is a hybrid role. You’ll be expected to report to an office about four days per month for important meetings, training, and collaboration and will have the benefit of continued coaching from a supportive team. If you prefer an in-office environment, you’re welcome to work in the office more than four days per month.

Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities

Minimum qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• {OR} Associate's degree and three years relevant work experience with one year in claims handling
• {OR} Bachelor's degree and one year in claims handling

This position requires a valid driver's license and auto insurance.

Preferred skills

• Auto and/or commercial insurance experience
• Bodily injury claims handling experience strongly preferred

Compensation

• $63,000 - $81,600/annual based on (100 Geo-A) Arizona
• $69,400 - $89,800/annual based on (110 Geo-C) Nevada
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 16% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
