As a claims adjuster specialist, you’ll play a critical role managing attorney-represented bodily injury (BI) claims. An ideal candidate will have experience managing an inventory independently, assessing and evaluating liability, coverage, and damages, and working directly with attorneys to negotiate and settle claims. By joining our organization, you’ll have the support of a collaborative team that will help you grow your claims career.

This is a hybrid role. You’ll report to an office about four days per month for meetings, training, and collaboration, with the option to work more in-office if preferred. Continued coaching from a supportive team is also provided.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Determine coverage and liability
• Negotiate with claimants or their attorneys
• Settle claims and establish reserves
• Estimate costs of treatment or compensation for injured parties
• Analyze medical reports, follow-up with no-fault parties, and manage claims to ensure efficient resolution
• Interview, collect, and document information from claimants, agents/brokers, attorneys, and police

Must-have Qualifications

• Four years of relevant work experience, including one year in claims handling
• OR Associate's degree with three years relevant work experience, including one year in claims handling
• OR Bachelor's degree with one year in claims handling
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance are required

Preferred Skills

• Experience handling attorney-represented bodily injury claims

Compensation

• $65,000-$79,400 annually, depending on location and experience
• Gainshare annual cash incentive up to 16% of eligible earnings based on company performance
