Independence Pet Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Claims Adjuster- Associate to join its pet insurance operations.

This role reports to the Supervisor, Claims and collaborates with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to evaluate medical histories and determine coverage and compensation. The position is full-time, remote in the USA, with a 22 USD hourly base pay and comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, disability, parental leave, and retirement plan.

Qualifications

• One year of relevant experience in a veterinary setting.
• Must hold or obtain Adjuster license within 90 days of hire.
• United States residents only.

Responsibilities

• Work with veterinary hospitals and policyholders to review medical history and determine health baselines.
• Investigate and process claims, verify coverage and compensation per policy.
• Update Explanation of Benefits (EOB), issue payments and close claims.
• Order medical records when needed and communicate with clients during treatment.
• Support other claims duties as assigned.

The Claims Adjuster- Associate is responsible for investigating, evaluating, and settling insurance claims.
