Job summary

Genesis Resources is seeking a mid-level Commercial Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to join its growing claims team. You will manage a caseload of commercial BI claims, primarily auto, from initial investigation through pre-litigation settlement while collaborating with attorneys and insureds.

Ideal candidates have BI claims experience in commercial insurance, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently to drive timely settlements, with exposure to liability,

Qualifications

• Experience handling Bodily Injury claims in a commercial insurance environment.
• Experience managing attorney-represented claims through pre-litigation settlement.
• Strong understanding of commercial automobile liability and BI claim evaluation.
• Experience negotiating settlements with plaintiff attorneys.
• Ability to evaluate liability, damages, and settlement exposures.
• Familiarity with general liability or property damage claims is a plus.
• Experience with construction-related claims or mobile equipment exposures is beneficial.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to independently manage a claims inventory and drive files toward resolution.

An Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Bodily Injury Claims Professional!

Are you an experienced Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster looking for an opportunity to work with a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance claims? We are partnering with an established insurance organization that is looking to add a Commercial Bodily Injury Claims Adjuster to its growing claims team.

This is a great opportunity for a Bodily Injury claims professional with experience handling attorney-represented bodily injury claims, primarily involving commercial automobile accidents. The position will focus on investigating, evaluating, negotiating, and resolving claims, with an emphasis on achieving timely and appropriate settlements before litigation.

The ideal candidate will have experience handling commercial auto bodily injury claims and be comfortable working with attorneys, evaluating liability and damages, and managing claims from initial investigation through settlement. Experience with general liability, property damage, and construction-related exposures is also beneficial. Candidates coming from either an insurance carrier or third-party administrator (TPA) environment will be considered.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage a caseload of commercial bodily injury claims, primarily involving motor vehicle accidents.
• Investigate and evaluate attorney-represented bodily injury claims, with an emphasis on pre-litigation resolution.
• Analyze liability, causation, damages, and medical documentation to determine appropriate claim values.
• Negotiate settlements directly with claimant attorneys and other involved parties.
• Work toward timely, cost-effective settlements while protecting the company's financial interests.
• Handle commercial automobile accidents involving construction vehicles, mobile equipment, and other commercial operations.
• Evaluate claims involving construction-related exposures, including vehicle backing incidents, mobile equipment accidents, and other jobsite-related occurrences.
• Handle some associated property damage and general liability claims as needed.
• Review coverage, policy provisions, and applicable endorsements to determine appropriate coverage.
• Establish and maintain appropriate claim reserves and ensure accurate claim file documentation.
• Work collaboratively with internal claims professionals, insureds, brokers, and outside parties to facilitate claim resolution.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience handling Bodily Injury claims, preferably within a commercial insurance environment.
• Experience managing attorney-represented claims through pre-litigation settlement.
• Strong understanding of commercial automobile liability and bodily injury claim evaluation.
• Experience negotiating settlements with plaintiff attorneys.
• Ability to evaluate liability, damages, medical records, and settlement exposures.
• Exposure to general liability and property damage claims is a plus.
• Experience with construction-related claims, commercial vehicles, or mobile equipment exposures is beneficial.
