Job summary

Polikov Recruitment Solutions is assisting a technology-driven insurer in finding an experienced Liability Claims Specialist for a fully remote role focused on Commercial Liability, slip/falls, and BI. The candidate will handle risk transfer, coverage issues, and litigation strategy.

Ideal candidates have 3–7 years of Commercial Claims experience with bodily injury, strong negotiation skills, and knowledge of legal concepts.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of Commercial Claims experience with BI/Bodily Injuries from a Liability perspective.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, evaluation, negotiating and interpersonal skills.
• Legal concept and process knowledge base.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategy to resolve Commercial Liability on challenging and complex accounts.
• Investigate, identify and assess coverage issues, draft coverage positions letters, and retain coverage counsel.
• Analyze risk transfer, subrogation/salvage actions, additional insured issues, and indemnity concerns.
• Manage the litigation process including retaining counsel and directing strategy.
• Attend mediations and trials relevant to resolution.

We are looking for an experienced Liability Claims Specialist. Must have experience with slip/falls, bodily injury, severe injuries, contractual capacity, risk transfer and be generally interested in working for a technology forward insurance company.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategy to resolve Commercial Liability on very challenging and complex accounts
• Investigate, identify and assess coverage issues, draft coverage positions letters, and retain coverage counsel
• Analyze and direct initial risk transfer, subrogation/salvage action, additional insured issues, and contractual indemnity issues, to ensure equitable contributions
• Manage the litigation process including retaining counsel and directing counsel on resolution strategy
• Attend mediations and trials relevant to resolution

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years of Commercial Claims experience with BI/Bodily Injuries from a Liability perspective
• Excellent collaboration, communication, evaluation, negotiating and interpersonal skills
• Legal concept and process knowledge base
