Job summary

Certum Legal Solutions, a pioneering MSO serving mass-tort and personal-injury firms, seeks a Claim Discovery Specialist to manage claimant discovery and document review throughout litigation. You’ll work with senior managers and attorneys to collect, organize, and evaluate records across the lifecycle of a case.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent professional experience.
• 2–3 years of relevant litigation discovery experience.
• Experience managing large discovery projects and processes.
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and discovery obligations.
• Experience reviewing medical records and legal documentation.
• Proficiency with case management and document management systems.
• Excellent time management, organizational, analytical, and project management skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze claimant files for completeness, eligibility, and supporting documentation.
• Manage Plaintiff Fact Sheets, Profile Forms, Census Forms, and other interrogatories, while tracking discovery deadlines and deficiencies.
• Collect, organize, and review medical, pharmacy, and related records, coordinating with claimants to solve missing documentation.
• Assist with the preparation and production of discovery responses and supporting evidence, and draft legal documents such as complaints.
• Ensure compliance with Case Management Orders (CMOs) and litigation protocols while maintaining accurate case management records.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for claimants during the discovery process, providing case updates and coordinating with supervisors on case work.

PayRangeandCompensationPackage

BaseSalary: $50,000–$60,000peryear,basedonexperienceandskillset
