Job summary

Trustpoint.One is seeking a Claim Discovery Specialist to join our Newark, NJ team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a litigation assistant or paralegal with hands-on discovery experience, especially in mass torts, product liability, personal injury, or medical malpractice matters.

You will review claimant files, manage Plaintiff Fact Sheets, track deadlines, and assist with discovery responses. The role is fully onsite, five days a week, with hours 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and a salary range

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation legal assistant or paralegal discovery experience.
• Experience with large-scale discovery and civil litigation.
• Background in mass torts, product liability, personal injury, or medical malpractice preferred.
• Experience reviewing medical records and analyzing legal documents.
• Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience.

Trustpoint is excited to partner with a leading legal solutions provider in search of a Claim Discovery Specialist to join its Newark, NJ team. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a litigation legal assistant or paralegal with hands-on discovery experience, particularly in mass torts, product liability, personal injury, or medical malpractice matters.

Responsibilities

• Review claimant files for completeness, eligibility, and required documentation
• Manage Plaintiff Fact Sheets, questionnaires, and other discovery materials
• Track deadlines, deficiencies, and case requirements
• Review and organize medical, pharmacy, and related records
• Follow up with claimants to obtain missing information and documentation
• Assist with discovery responses and supporting evidence
• Ensure compliance with court-ordered discovery and case management requirements
• Serve as a primary point of contact for claimants throughout the discovery process

Qualifications

• 2+ years of litigation legal assistant or paralegal experience with discovery
• Experience with large-scale discovery and civil litigation
• Background in mass torts, product liability, personal injury, or medical malpractice strongly preferred
• Experience reviewing medical records and analyzing legal documentation
• Bachelor's degree, paralegal certificate, or equivalent experience
• Excellent organization, attention to detail, and time management skills
• Ability to manage a high volume of matters in a fast-paced environment

• Salary: $50,000-$60,000, commensurate with experience
• Bonus opportunity: Up to $20,000 annually, paid bi-weekly based on internal performance metrics
