Job summary

gpac is seeking a Civil Water Resources Engineer I on behalf of our client, a fast-growing engineering firm in Savannah, GA. The role focuses on water resources and stormwater design, with mentorship and a supportive culture.

You will contribute to modeling, analyses, and reports while collaborating with project teams to deliver practical solutions for infrastructure projects. A bachelor’s degree in civil/environmental engineering and up to four years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required.
• 0-4 years of experience in water resources or related field.
• FE Exam Passed (EIT preferred).
• Familiarity with design standards such as AASHTO, MUTCD, APWA, or AWWA.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop water resources and stormwater management projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and clients to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing project proposals and technical reports.
• Support design efforts including hydrology/hydraulic modeling and analysis.
• Conduct field investigations and site inspections as needed.
