Job summary

Applied Technology Group (ATG) is seeking a Civil Technical Services Manager to lead project execution and delivery outcomes within our Technical Services organization from a civil perspective. You will own project management, scope reviews, resource assignment, and performance accountability while developing a high-performing team focused on quality and client satisfaction across AEC projects.

This leadership role demands strong communication, risk management, and the ability to align scope

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical or professional services projects.
• Proven ability to lead teams and manage performance.
• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving delivery issues.
• Experience with resource planning, utilization management, and team coordination.
• Experience within the AEC industry or related technology-driven fields.
• Familiarity with Autodesk Civil 3D, Revit, ACC, BIM 360, and/or AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Own project management and delivery ownership from kickoff to completion.
• Review and approve SOWs; align scope with capabilities and timelines.
• Assign resources and balance utilization across engagements.
• Lead performance conversations and coaching for Technical Specialists.
• Oversee QA/QC and root-cause analysis of delivery issues.
• Support onboarding and growth of team members.
• Coordinate staffing plans, reporting, and escalation of systemic issues.
